The configuration utilizes twin independent Swiss quartz Ronda movements, managed by symmetrically opposed crowns that allow rapid adjustment.
The dial plate is cut from lapis lazuli, displaying the stone's natural pyrite inclusions against a recessed blue sunray sub-dial at three o'clock. Its gold PVD stainless steel case measures 6mm in thickness.
The Dennison Watch Case Company was established in Birmingham, England, in 1874 by Aaron Lufkin Dennison, a co-founder of Waltham regarded as a pioneer of industrial watch manufacturing. Operating through the 20th century, the firm produced watch cases for manufacturers including Rolex, Omega, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Zenith, and Smiths, alongside instrumentation for the British military. Notably, Smiths watches housed in Dennison "Aquatite" cases were utilized during the 1953 Everest summit expedition. The original company ceased operations in 1967.
The brand was revived in 2024 as an independent watchmaker. Its catalog is centered on the ALD collection, designed in collaboration with Emmanuel Gueit, drawing inspiration from retro cushion- and TV-shaped silhouettes from the brand's mid-century archives. Modern models, such as the ALD Time Only and ALD Dual Time, feature stainless steel cases, mineral stone and monochromatic brushed dials, and paired Swiss Ronda quartz calibers enabling dual-time tracking.
